Job summary

Lockers MFG seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise commercial construction projects from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on oversight and clear communication across disciplines. You will organize installation procedures, coordinate teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure timely completion while maintaining safety standards and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10 years in project management, a BS/BA in a relevant field, and strong negotiation and leadership

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering, building science, supply chain or relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with construction procedures, quality and safety standards.
• Proven experience with project management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from authorities as required.
• Plan installation operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
• Allocate resources (manpower, equipment, materials) within budget.
• Hire contractors and supervise staff, providing guidance as needed.
• Monitor progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise commercial construction projects with a strong emphasis on project management oversight and communication from start to finish. You will organize and oversee installation procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent installation project manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all installation operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Experience:

• Project Management: 10 years (Required)
• Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
• Construction: 10 years (Preferred)

Requirements

• Proven experience as construction project manager
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, MS Project or other scheduling software
• Familiarity with construction/ project management software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• BS/BA in engineering, building science, supply chain or relevant field
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage

Schedule

• 8 - 10 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed
