Job summary

Golden Goose is seeking an HR Business Partner - Retail to support the Retail workforce across stores, encompassing talent review, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and leadership development, with travel to stores as needed.

This role offers a base salary in the $70,000–$80,000 range, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life and disability insurance, a 401K plan, paid holidays, and generous PTO, with strong growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years Human Resources experience, preferably in Retail.
• Business partner mindset with strong follow up skills.
• Energetic and self–motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Store analytical skills and highly organized with ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Strong relationship–building and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support for Retail including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and development.
• Conduct investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, and employee disputes; coordinate response to complaints.
• Build alliances with Retail team and Stores to serve as subject matter experts.
• Partner with Retail Team to source, identify and interview; manage candidates to fit business needs and culture.
• Guide and support retail management on full-cycle recruitment for non-management roles.
• Advise and interpret HR employment policies and procedures.
• Provide counseling to employees to resolve employee relation issues.
• Partner with HR Manager to establish coaching, counseling and disciplinary strategies.
• Lead ad hoc HR projects as needed.
• Maintain open communication with business partners for policy interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State Legislation; consult legal advice if applicable.
• Oversee annual review process for all store staff.
• Travel as needed to retail stores.
