Job summary

Adventureland Park is seeking a friendly Retail Host (Ages 18+) to greet guests, assist with merchandise inquiries, and process purchases in park retail shops. The role focuses on delivering Heartspitality and a memorable guest experience across various locations in the park.

Responsibilities include upselling, maintaining stock, and ensuring clean, safe retail environments. Prior retail experience helps, but is not required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
• Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift.
• Ability to comply with uniform policies.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology and PCI compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a smile at retail locations.
• Assist guests with questions about merchandise and promotions.
• Operate POS equipment to complete purchases accurately.
• Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and presentable.
• Maintain clean, safe retail locations and report issues promptly.
• Support inventory monitoring and assist with restocking as needed.
