Job summary

Living Shores is seeking a friendly Retail Host to engage guests, answer questions about merchandise, and process purchases in our park gift shops. The role emphasizes memory-making, excellent customer service, and teamwork in a lively, seasonal environment.

Flexibility is key: evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Training is provided, with opportunities to cross-train across departments and enjoy free park admission on days off.

Qualifications

• No formal education required for entry-level retail roles.
• Retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Fluent English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet all guests with a smile as they enter retail locations
• Initiate conversations with guests and assist with questions about merchandise or souvenirs
• Maintain knowledge of all available merchandise to answer questions about products
• Promote current sales and promotions; upsell where appropriate
• Operate POS equipment accurately to finalize purchases
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, organized, and presentable
• Keep retail locations clean and safe for guests
• Assist with inventory monitoring and stock management
• Follow safety policies and report maintenance issues promptly
• All other duties assigned by leadership
