Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience; hardware experience preferred.
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Prompt, friendly and attentive customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willing to learn all store areas and help train others.
• Knowledge of various departments is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise as arranged by management.
• Maintain assigned department: keep it clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Execute daily operational goals and move with the Ace Pace.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays, watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
• Watch for shoplifters and act to discourage shoplifting.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
