Job summary

Elder's ACE Hardware in Rome, Georgia is looking for a dedicated retail associate. Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, maintaining department organization, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Location: GA - Rome - Rome, GA 30165

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management).
• Maintain your assigned department: keep clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Execute daily operational goals/priorities assigned to you and move with your "Ace Pace".
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
• Watch for shoplifters and act in line with Elder’s policy to deter shoplifting.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with a passion for details.
• Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others.

• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
• Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
