Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; or 1 year’s retail experience with 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required.
• For facilities that sell ammunition only and have state requirements, a state Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
• Manages store operations, customer service initiatives, and OBW program across the store.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PLs, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Oversees merchandise presentation, inventory flow, seasonal transitions, and shrink mitigation.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates; recruits and mentors staff.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and Open Door Policy; promotes a culture of belonging.
