Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Key Carrying Lead to directly influence the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience in-store. Working with and guiding the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will be the in-store expert, delivering exceptional customer service while leading by example.

You will help build a strong team, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in retail sales or customer-focused roles.
• Ability to lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store service by delivering the best customer experience.
• Assist with interviews and department orientation.
• Plan 30-day work schedules with guidance from store leadership; align workforce for daily tasks and events.
• Uphold brand standards, floor sets, and visual presentation.
• Train teammates and onboard new staff; support loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive store culture and provide hands-on coaching.
