Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking a Key Carrying Lead to help execute brand standards and guide teammates. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you’ll lead by example, deliver best-in-class service, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and athletes.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver customer service and maintain brand standards.
• Assist with training teammates on procedures and programs; onboard new teammates and cross-train current teammates.
• Open and close the store and perform Front End and Cash Office functions.
• Process firearms sales in compliance with state and federal regulations, where applicable.
• Maintain loss prevention standards and ensure accurate inventory presentation and replenishment.
