The Role:

A Visionworks General Manager (GM) is a leader of people and business. This individual is a smart, business-savvy self-starter who understands profitability and success drivers. The GM manages a service-oriented team to ensure a seamless, human, and bold patient and customer journey from doctor appointment to eyewear pickup.

• Maximize store profitability while maintaining a positive patient/customer experience by setting and exceeding financial and performance goals.
• Engage regularly with the doctor to discuss business needs, staff, and patient/customer experience.
• Prepare and plan daily operations, managing traffic, appointments, and eyewear services.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to deliver excellence in their roles and ensure a flawless patient/customer experience.
• Resolve obstacles and issues in the patient/customer experience as needed.
• Lead and improve operational activities to meet financial and customer experience objectives.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three (3) years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience is preferred.
• Licensed GMs must hold a current State Opticians License.
