Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $58,656 - $66,915.63

The Role:

A Visionworks General Manager (GM) leads the team and manages the business at Visionworks. This person is a business-savvy, self-starting leader who understands profitability and success factors. The GM ensures a simple, human, and bold patient and customer journey from doctor appointment to eyewear pickup.

  • Maximize store profitability while maintaining excellent patient/customer experience by achieving financial and performance goals.
  • Engage regularly with the Doctor to discuss business needs, staff, and patient/customer experience.
  • Prepare and plan daily operations, managing traffic, appointments, and eyewear services.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to deliver excellent service.
  • Resolve obstacles and issues in the patient/customer experience promptly.
  • Lead operational activities to meet financial and customer experience objectives.
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of related experience required.
  • Optical management experience is preferred.
  • Licensed GMs must hold a current State Opticians License.
