Job summary

Biltmore Workforce Management in Asheville, NC is seeking a Retail Fulfillment Associate to ensure accurate and timely shipping of E-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer orders, including wine and merchandise. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong data entry and shipping skills.

Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, following SOPs, maintaining inventory, and supporting the Fulfillment Center. Average 20 hours/week; Mon–Fri, 9:00 am–4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving setting; preferably in high-end retail or e-commerce.
• Strong computer and data entry skills with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping software is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Must have a strong work ethic and verifiable references.
• Must be proactive, able to take initiative, and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Work with order entry team to prepare, pick, and ship orders.
• Follow SOPs to ensure accurate and timely package delivery to guests.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving, and speed in handling guest orders.
• Maintain wine and merchandise inventory in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
• Assist with special projects such as preparing freight shipments and large orders.
• Receive, unload, and stock deliveries from the Distribution Center and Wine Production.
• Assist with accurate on-hand inventory counts for products.
• Communicate shipment delays and errors to appropriate teams.
• Provide support for all areas of the Fulfillment Center.

By delivering efficient, accurate service, the Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in extending the high level of guest service and satisfaction that drives brand loyalty. This position ensures that off-site guests experience the same exceptional service as those visiting in person, with every order handled to exceed expectations.Essential Job Duties1.
