Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to oversee store operations and drive sales. This role emphasizes training, coaching, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Base Pay provides competitive compensation with opportunities to lead a diverse team, schedule flexibility, and strong growth within the organization. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in off-price/big box or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal and engaging communication skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Train, develop, and coach direct reports to maximize sales.
• Promote safety and adhere to company guidelines for customers and staff.
• Foster a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional service.
• Support Asset Protection initiatives to minimize shrink.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Attend weekly workload planning meetings and drive community relations programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports
• Promote safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
• Solve issues/concerns, making informed decisions and supervising the front‑end operations to ensure all Burlington customers are provided with exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service at all times
• Reinforce our company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off‑price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
