Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor to join our team in Bellingham. You will lead store operations, coach associates, and partner with store management in merchandising, service, and HR to drive results.

This role emphasizes building strong teams, ensuring safe and friendly customer service, and maintaining strong asset protection practices while coordinating schedules and supporting recruitment and onboarding.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while acting as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through coaching and development of direct reports.
• Promote safety and adhere to company guidelines for customers and associates.
• Cultivate a diverse, teamwork-driven culture.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to provide exceptional customer service.
• Support Asset Protection to minimize shortages.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty

• Solve issues/concerns, making informed decisions and supervising the front‑end operations to ensure all Burlington customers are provided with exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service at all times

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off‑price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
