Job summary

Food Lion seeks a Front End Associate in Myrtle Beach, SC to deliver fast, friendly service at the store front. You will greet customers, handle cash transactions, and support the Customer Service Manager to maintain standards.

You will perform cashier duties, stock and maintain a neat front end, assist with the MVP savings center, and follow safety and store procedures to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers.
• Greet each customer using their name when possible.
• Maintain front end area neat and clean; ensure accurate cash handling.
• Handle cash reports, deposits, and related accounting tasks.
• Keep MVP savings center KIOSK stocked and functioning.
• Perform sales associate tasks when scheduled.
• Assist Customer Service Manager and front end supervisors as needed.
• Follow store procedures to ensure service standards.
