Job summary

US Foods in Washington state is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-end operations, train staff, manage shrink, and drive sales and profit in coordination with the Store Manager. You’ll supervise cashiers, help execute the annual plan, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in a retail environment.
• At least two years of management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Proficient with computer use, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and internet software.
• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach front-end employees at registers and storewide.
• Address personnel and performance issues with coaching and warnings.
• Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures.
• Understand and contribute to the Annual Operating Plan and monthly P&L implications.
• Assist in budget preparation and achievement of sales/profit targets.
• Train front-end staff on required programs.
