Job summary

Dollar Tree in Exton, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help operate daily store functions, assist customers, stock shelves, and support front-end duties with a friendly, can-do attitude. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering a welcoming shopping experience.

You will handle transactions at the cash register, maintain a clean, safe environment, and support fellow associates while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely per productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
