Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking team members in Frankfort, KY to provide friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store while promoting rewards and private label credit card enrollments.

Experience in retail and customer service is preferred. The role requires standing for long periods and working nights/weeksends as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Engage customers on rewards program and enrollments.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock condition.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; project a positive image.
