Job summary

Michaels Stores in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Retail Framing Associate to help customers build custom framing solutions and keep a well-organized, welcoming store environment.

You will assist shoppers, complete framing orders on time, operate the register, and support Omni-channel processes while following SOPs and safety guidelines. This role requires basic computer and measuring skills and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders on time with high quality.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store.
• Follow SOPs and Company programs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote the organization’s values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to meet standards and budgets.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
