Job summary

Michaels Stores Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Store Associate to help customers create memorable framing solutions and keep a welcoming, well-stocked store. You will assist customers, locate products, and process transactions with accuracy while delivering friendly service.

Major duties include completing framing orders on time with quality, maintaining the frame department, supporting SOPs and safety programs, stocking shelves, and assisting with Omni channel processes to enhance shopping

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and apply policies.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers find products and solutions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and assist with Omni channel processes.
