Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida Inc is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to assist with day-to-day store operations and sales performance to meet or exceed budget while adhering to company standards, policies and procedures. A Sales Floor Lead performs the duties of a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager, and may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Retail training completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register; process sales; accept payments and credits as needed.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees.
• Stock the sales floor; maintain a clean, attractive store environment.
• Keep store safe and hazard-free; observe safety policies.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts and balance daily paperwork.
