Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a store-support associate focused on floor care and basic cleaning duties. You will operate floor equipment, dust and mop, and ensure a clean, safe store environment while upholding loss-prevention standards.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to work a flexible schedule, and strong organizational and communication skills. Retail experience is a plus. Benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor equipment.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Team-oriented; works well with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass/windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas as needed.
• Support front-end coverage and store recovery throughout the day.
• Follow company policies on Health and Safety; replenish essential items in Lounge/Restrooms/Front End.
