Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Springfield, MA is seeking a Store Cleaning Associate to maintain a clean store environment, operate floor scrubber and buffer, perform mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning glass.

You will support various store areas as needed and uphold safety, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. You should have strong customer service, be able to lift heavy objects, multi-task, and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, spot clean glass/windows.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to work in multiple store areas to support business needs.
• Support Front End coverage and store recovery as needed.
• Uphold merchandising signage standards and store policies.
• Communicate accurately with management and Associates.
• Adhere to labor laws, meal and break policies, and safety procedures.
