North 40 Outfitters is looking for a Controller to join our Home Office team in Great Falls, MT. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company.

As the Controller at North 40 Outfitters, you will lead the day-to-day accounting function and play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of our financial operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• Significant progressive accounting experience including financial close, general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting operations within a retail, multi-location, inventory-intensive, or high-transaction-volume environment.
• Experience coordinating financial statement audits and tax compliance.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, COGS, gross margin, and retail financial reporting.
• ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day accounting function and oversee close and reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activity, inventory accounting, cash management, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and tax compliance.
• Coordinate audits, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
• Partner with leadership and store operations to provide financial insights and maintain controls.
• Manage payroll and travel considerations with periodic site visits as needed.
