Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of financial accounting experience; familiarity with US GAAP and Oracle ERP is preferred. Excellent communication and detail orientation are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of financial accounting experience.
• Experience with US GAAP or IFRS preferred.
• Retail industry experience a plus; strong MS Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy with independent verification.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze fluctuations.
• Schedule meetings with finance teams to discuss impacts on accounting areas.
• Maintain understanding of accounting systems and participate in upgrades.
• Assist in testing accounting system implementations.
• Document processes and participate in cross-training.
• Collect and interpret financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.
