Cumberland Farms is hiring an Accountant II in Westborough, MA to support the EG America Finance team. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze fluctuations, and contribute to monthly closing activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2–4 years of financial accounting experience, with strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS beneficial. This is an in-office role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 2–4 years of financial accounting experience is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and MS Excel is expected; familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy with independent verification.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and explain fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to understand impacts on accounting areas.
• Participate in system testing and upgrades; document processes and assist cross-training.
