MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Network Technician to install and decommission networks at new facilities, manage CCTV, access control, and security systems, and perform troubleshooting. The role requires working at heights, including from lifts, and willingness to obtain forklift certification.
Responsibilities include wiring CAT5/6 and fiber, testing networks, installing security subsystems, and coordinating with IT teams.
In conjunction with IT, the Network Technician will install and decommission networks at new facilities, and manage CCTV, access control, and security systems for established facilities. May trace cables and wires, research systems and perform trouble‑shooting activities. The Network Technician must be comfortable with using a lift and working at heights
Must be able to lift, carry, and/or move items up to 100 lbs. Will use fingers, hands, and arms for installing, positioning, or moving components. This job can be physical and requires hands‑on work. May bend, reach, stretch, climb, or crawl on occasion. May work outdoors with exposure to uneven terrain and inclement weather. Frequent use of computer, keyboard, and mouse. May involve extended time sitting or standing.
