Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is seeking a Facilities Associate to maintain a clean, safe store environment and assist merchandising as needed. You will perform interior and exterior upkeep, report hazards to leadership, and uphold company standards to ensure a positive guest and associate experience.

The role offers hourly pay between $16.75 and $17.75, with benefits including health & wellness coverage, PTO, and an associate discount. The position emphasizes teamwork and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Prior facilities experience is required.
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills; legible handwriting; good communication.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs; physical activity required.
• Work in a climate-controlled environment with lifting/moving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct maintenance and safety issues inside and outside the store.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Empty waste containers and manage interior trash.
• Maintain bathroom, breakroom, and supply levels.
• Keep building approaches clear of debris and obstructions.
• Support merchandising tasks and operate a cash register as needed.
