Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Facilities Associate for our Mechanicsburg, PA location. This part-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe store environment and supporting merchandising tasks and customer service as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior facilities experience required.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct maintenance and safety issues inside and outside the store, ensuring the well‑being of associates and customers.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors, steps and other surfaces.
• Empty waste containers and dispose of interior trash and debris.
• Check and maintain bathroom and breakroom supplies needed for building operations.
• Keep approaches to buildings clear of debris, snow, and obstructions.
• Ensure work areas and materials are safe, clean, and orderly; label and store cleaning supplies.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and at the register when needed; support merchandising tasks.
