Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Oxford, PA store. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect and repair facilities, equipment and fixtures, and support store operations under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager.

The role requires multitrade skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry or material handling equipment, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1) High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2) Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 3) Comfortable working at heights and moving up and down ladders.
• 4) Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 5) Vocational/Technical certification or 2 years in plumbing/electrical/related trades or 4 years total experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling).
• Utilize work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate tools safely.
