Job summary

Walmart is expanding its local team and seeks a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance in-store facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetics under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment repairs with hands-on use of hand and power tools. A high school diploma and 1 year of related trades experience are required; a sign-on bonus is available at select locations.

Qualifications

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and hand/power tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair Work Orders supporting Stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Responsibilities
