Job summary

Macy's Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is looking for a Retail Customer Experience Associate to deliver personalized shopping experiences and drive sales across categories. You will engage customers both in-store and online, build relationships, and leverage digital tools to enhance the customer journey.

You will collaborate with store teams, support floor readiness, and assist with merchandising and events, while emphasizing loyalty benefits and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
• Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Meeting daily sales goal challenges
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
• You can handle electronic devices with no problem
• At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional, personalized shopping experiences for our customers across touchpoints
• Drive cross-category sales to support overall business goals
• Work across departments daily, transitioning between multiple areas throughout the day
• Play a key part in client relationship building through outreach tools like My Client and social media
• Support operational excellence through floor readiness, event execution, merchandise setup, and opening/closing procedures
• Finish Strong by highlighting Loyalty program benefits and ensuring customers have what they need
