Boxbar in Old City, Philadelphia, is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations and fulfillment of personalized orders. You will blend retail leadership with a creative, craft-focused vibe, lead events, train staff, manage scheduling, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while building genuine connections with customers and local partners.

The role involves nights and weekends as needed, and supports a warm, inclusive, and community-driven retail environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of developing great talent.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Enhance customer experience by delivering exceptional and personalized service.
• Lead and develop the team, manage onboarding, scheduling, and performance.Oversee back-of-house standards and store operations, including inventory and events preparation.
• Coordinate in-store and offsite events, workshops, and partnerships to drive engagement.
