Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at our Houston area TJ Maxx store. You will deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, uphold store standards, and support multiple areas of the business as needed.

You will represent our brand with honesty and integrity, process purchases accurately, and participate in loss prevention and safety initiatives. Prior retail experience is a plus and a flexible schedule is required.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising procedures and standards.
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
• Supports safety and loss prevention policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
