Job summary

Excelerate is supporting a client through a major retail ERP consolidation, migrating multiple business units from separate ERP environments to a centralized platform. The Retail ERP Consultant will assess current designs, configure changes, plan data migration, and modify integrations to support POS, finance, ecommerce and EDI.

Experience with NCR Power HQ/Retalix HQ or comparable platforms is a plus. The project is based in the Portland area with part-time or full-time hours at up to 40

Qualifications

• Deep experience implementing, configuring, or transforming ERP systems in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of retail ERP processes, item management, vendor management, and merchandising hierarchies.
• Experience with ERP data migration, mapping, conversion, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience evaluating and redesigning ERP environments for consolidation and migration.

Responsibilities

• Assess current ERP environment and system design for consolidation readiness.
• Recommend and implement configuration and design changes to centralize multiple business units onto a single ERP platform.
• Lead or support ERP configuration across retail areas: item setup, vendor setup, merchandising hierarchies.
• Plan and execute data migration from legacy environments, including mapping, conversion, validation, and reconciliation.
• Assess and modify integrations between ERP and downstream systems (POS, finance, ecommerce, vendor EDI).
• Identify redesign needs to support a consolidated operating model.
• Partner with technology and program leadership and provide hands-on functional and technical ERP guidance.
• Support lifecycle activities from assessment through migration, testing, and implementation.
