Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Retail Donation Attendant for the Springfield Store - Western team. The role supports our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work,” with a focus on customer service, donation processing, and store upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, greet donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and issue receipts and incentives.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donations and goods into sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, or trash per guidelines.
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate items.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and keep store areas clean.
