Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Utica, MI, to install and maintain electronics displays at major retailers. The role covers up to 15 hours weekly, Mon–Wed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends.

Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour, with higher rates for technical projects. W2 employment includes bi-weekly pay and direct deposit. Perks include optional 401(k) with company match, travel reimbursement, paid training, and PTO accrual.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams and instructions.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to work up to 15 hours per week, Mon-Wed (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain product displays across assigned stores.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.
• Assist with travel between stores and report hours.
• Follow client display diagrams and instructions.

• **Store Visits: **Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!**
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling:Up to 15 hours per week. Must be available to work Monday through Wednesday (M/T/W) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Additional hours and team project work may be available on Thursday and Friday. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
