ActionLink in Troy, MI, is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to enhance the consumer experience by setting up and maintaining product displays across major retailers.

You will visit stores, report outcomes with photos, and have opportunities for more hours. A driver’s license and personal vehicle are required, with paid training and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Must have driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop and climb ladders.
• Reliable internet and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled device required.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to set up and maintain product displays across major retailers.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each store visit.
• Work up to 15+ hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Opportunities for more hours when covering larger regions or travel.

Employment Type: Part Time

Location: MI - TROY; Troy, MI and the surrounding area.

Enhance the Retail Experience, One Display at a Time!

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products – you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Scheduling: Up to 15+ hours per week, availability required Monday‑Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings.
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Tech‑ready: Internet access, basic hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus.
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
