Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Middletown, DE and surrounding area. You will visit stores, assemble and maintain promotional displays for major brands, and report results with photos on the same day. This role supports up to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekends or evenings.

Experience in merchandising or retail is highly desirable. You will travel within the territory, using your own vehicle, and may work on higher‑paid technical

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with promotional displays.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within the assigned territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.
• Report and communicate feedback to optimize shelf placement and promotions.
• Cover Up to 25 hours per week with Monday–Friday daytime schedule (no weekends/evenings).

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients' brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products -you'd be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to25hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
