Job summary

ActionLink seeks a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas. The role involves visiting major retailers to set up and maintain products, ensuring displays meet brand standards and reporting back with photos and notes.

Ideal candidates have merchandising or 3PL experience and can work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, up to 25 hours weekly with potential for more hours on larger regions or travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and retail environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow display diagrams and instructions precisely.
• Comfort working independently and with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within a defined territory to set up and maintain product displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Represent clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel during store visits.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos and feedback for each store visit.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to25hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
