ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Display Installer in Mount Vernon, IL to set up and maintain electronics displays at major retail partners. You’ll visit stores across the territory, ensuring proper placement and functionality of products from leading brands.

Expect a collaborative, fast-paced environment with paid training and weekly pay via W2. Role emphasizes attention to detail, independent work with occasional teamwork, and the ability to travel to multiple stores.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising or retail experience is highly desirable.
• Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Follow complex instructions and display diagrams precisely.
• Availability up to 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos and feedback for each visit.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel

• Scheduling: Up to 20 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable

• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory

• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams

• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed

• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus

• Travel Ability: Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
