Job summary

ActionLink in North Riverside, IL is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to visit stores across the local territory. You will set up and maintain product displays for major brands, ensure correct placement, and troubleshoot display issues.

This role offers up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm, with paid training, PTO accrual, and a bi-weekly pay schedule on a W2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus.
• Travel Ability: Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain products and displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
• Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
