Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to install and maintain electronics displays in Bloomington, IN and surrounding area. You will visit major retailers, assemble and troubleshoot displays for leading brands.

The role offers pay at $18.00 per hour, bi-weekly direct deposit with W2, opportunities for higher-rate technical projects, travel reimbursement, paid training, and PTO accrual. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with 15–25 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or 3PL or relevant retail work is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex display instructions and diagrams.
• Comfortable working in a territory with limited supervision and some collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to set up and maintain displays for major brands.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos after each store visit.

• **Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**

• **Scheduling: Up to 15-25 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• **Additional Opportunities:** Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**

• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**

• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory

• **Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus

• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**

• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
