Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to work in Dayton, OH and surrounding areas. You will visit major retail stores to set up and maintain electronics and other displays, following diagrams and instructions.

This role requires independence and the ability to work with a small team, with pay at $18/hour plus potential higher rates for additional projects. Scheduling is up to 15-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no weekends or evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams and instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to set up and maintain product displays across a Dayton territory.
• Ensure correct placement and troubleshoot displays as needed.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.

• **Store Visits: ** Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**

• **Scheduling: Up to 15-25 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**

• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**

• **Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus

• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**

• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
