Job summary

UNT Dining Services at the University of North Texas in Denton seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the University’s retail dining location on campus. The role focuses on daily operations, staff supervision, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a high-volume setting.

The supervisor will enforce safety standards, manage inventories, and collaborate with teams to maintain food quality. This is a 1.0 FTE, on-site position with benefits within UNT Dining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and two years of institutional or commercial food service experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) is required.
• Experience with high-volume food production and standardized recipes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the designated retail dining location.
• Enforce all dining policies, health and safety regulations, and customer service standards.
• Train onboarding staff and assist with inventory and ordering tasks.
• Ensure high quality food presentation and service to campus customers.
