Interior Talent is seeking a Retail Design Consultant for our Dallas showroom to drive sales and cultivate relationships with clients who love great interiors. You will work in a design-forward environment, collaborating with retail, trade, and hospitality clients to deliver exceptional service.

Role emphasizes quote accuracy, order fulfillment, showroom merchandising, and proactive communication. Occasional travel is required; familiarity with NetSuite or Shopify is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of sales experience in furniture, interiors, or related trade environment.
• Passion for design and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
• Positive, proactive, team‑oriented approach; excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with furniture and accessory purchases in‑store, by phone, and via email.
• Create detailed, accurate sales quotes and close transactions efficiently.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail, trade, and hospitality clients.
• Manage designer accounts and oversee trade application approvals.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with operations and purchasing; ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate sample shipments and occasional warehouse/UPS drop-offs.
• Contribute to showroom merchandising and product presentation.
• Manage daily administrative tasks (emails, phones, scheduling).
• Occasionally travel up to 10% for client or trade needs.

In the role, you will:
