Job summary

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Management in Training (MIT) candidate for its Glendale, AZ stores. The role trains you in department operations, stock, and sales planning with a clear path to promotion to Cashier Department Manager within 3–5 months based on performance and learning progress.

The program emphasizes real store responsibilities, team leadership, and strong customer service. You must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and willing to travel for training and shifts including nights,

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related fields (1 year of management/supervisor experience preferred).
• Must be able to work in environments with varying temperatures and lift 25+ lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and relocate if necessary.
• Must be able to travel between stores for training purposes.
• Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures and training materials.
• Familiarity with inventory management programs, Microsoft Office, IT retail, or SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undergo training and evaluations for 3 to 5 months and then be assigned to a store.
• Manage the department's daily operations and meet company standards.
• Design store promotions with management to meet sales targets.
• Maintain product display, freshness, and shelf stocking.
• Order products based on inventory and events; coordinate deliveries.
• Receive poultry shipments and inspect quantity and quality.
• Control inventory movement (FIFO) and conduct physical counts.
• Work with local vendors and familiar products.
• Provide schedules and manage attendance for staff.
• Participate in coaching, training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
