Job Description: Customer Service Supervisor at TJ Maxx

Position Summary:

As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will promote an excellent customer experience by leading a team of Associates at the front of the store. Your role involves ensuring prompt, courteous service, supporting loyalty programs, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. You will lead by example and foster a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Create a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
2. Uphold honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
3. Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and personalized customer service.
4. Assign registers, support POS coverage, and coordinate breaks.
5. Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
6. Ensure store tasks are completed according to plan, prioritizing as needed.
7. Communicate effectively with management and team members, providing updates and feedback.
8. Support training initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
9. Adhere to labor laws, policies, and safety standards.
10. Promote credit and loyalty programs and support shrink reduction efforts.
11. Maintain a safe environment and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong merchandising knowledge and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Team-oriented with leadership experience (minimum 1 year retail, 6 months leadership).
