Job summary

Nike Anthem in Phoenix is seeking a Department Manager who will lead a high-volume store, coach a diverse team, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll train staff, recruit teammates, and implement Nike Service Principles to bring our culture to life in the community and store every day.

You’ll drive store growth, manage scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics while ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment where colleagues feel supported and valued.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• At least one year of leadership experience.
• Experience recruiting and building high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (bend, squat, climb) with or without accommodations.
• Experience using tools for conflict resolution and coaching employees.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leading the store's team and business results/critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership and management
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
