The Arc of Palm Beach County Inc is seeking a dependable Retail & Delivery Specialist to manage donation pickups, deliveries, and in-store merchandising in Palm Springs, FL. This full-time role includes operating a 26-foot box truck, serving customers, and maintaining product displays.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid FL driver's license, and experience with POS systems. The job emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck.
• Experience with donation pickups, deliveries, moving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Two years of retail, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience operating a POS/cash register.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for scheduled donation pickups and deliveries.
• Conduct donation pickups from residences and businesses, serving as a professional representative of The Arc.
• Load, unload, and transport donated furniture, household goods, appliances, and merchandise.
• Receive, sort, stock, and organize donations.
• Create and maintain merchandise displays.
• Test donated appliances and electronics before sale.
• Schedule and coordinate donation pickups and deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers, donors, volunteers, and pickup customers.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
